Accessibility statement for Uni Open Days

This accessibility statement applies to the website uniopendays.com (Uni Open Days).

This website is run by Not assigned. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings;
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen;
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard;
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software;
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).

We’ve also tried to make the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet (https://mcmw.abilitynet.org.uk/) has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

The parts of this website that we build and control meet the WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard. The only content that is not fully accessible is third-party material embedded in some pages — for example, embedded Instagram posts, where the text contrast is set by the platform and is outside our control.

Feedback and contact information

If you need information on this website in a different format — such as accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille — please email info@uniopendays.com.

We’ll consider your request and get back to you within Not assigned working days.

Non-accessible content

Non-compliance with the accessibility standard

Following testing and remediation, we are not aware of any remaining accessibility issues in the content we build and control. If you find one, please let us know using the contact details above.

Third-party content

Some pages contain content provided by third parties that we do not control, including:

  • the cookie consent banner, which is provided by a third-party tool (CookieYes) whose markup and behaviour we do not control;
  • embedded social media posts (for example Instagram posts and reels), where the contrast and markup are set by the third-party platform;
  • advertising banners supplied by universities and advertising partners.

We are not responsible for the accessibility of this third-party content, but we will raise accessibility issues with providers where we can.

Manual testing (keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader checks and contrast verification). Manual testing carried out by: Not assigned.
