About the event

An undergraduate Open Day at Falmouth University gives you a real experience of student life and study in Cornwall. You can explore the university’s beautiful campuses and professional‑grade facilities at your own pace, and get a feel for the creative environment there. The day includes academic sessions where you can speak with lecturers about the subjects you are interested in, plus the chance to meet current students and ask questions about their experiences. You can also attend campus tours and find out about accommodation options including student villages and nearby housing.

Information points throughout the day provide advice on applying to university, student funding, wellbeing support, and student life, while hubs focus on study, wellbeing, and student services to help you make confident choices. Both Falmouth and Penryn campuses have cafés and social spaces to explore, and there are opportunities to discover the local area if you have time during your visit. The Open Day is informal, friendly, and designed to help you decide if Falmouth is right for you.
